The Carnival is the most popular and important party in Barranquilla!
Barranquilla gets busy with street dances, musical and parades. Many styles of Colombian music are performed, but mostly cumbia. Some people, from Barranquilla of course, claim that Barranquilla's Carnival is second after the Carnival in Rio.
If you've never experienced Carnaval before then Barranquilla's Carnival is the best to start!
