Taganga is a small village, 15 minutes away from Santa Marta. Taganga is a cheap place to stay and learn scuba diving. You can get a PADI diploma. The only problem is the equipment, that range from average to dangerous. So you have to double check everything by yourself. The price was $250 for PADI level 1 course at "Poseidon school".
